It sounds to me like she is interested in you too, and likes the attention, but she is totally unused to it! If you find that it keeps happening, give her some space, but in a way that lets her know that you still want to be her friend. Just talk to her about how you feel and it may give her the opportunity to open up and tell you. If she says she's not interested, don't take it hard. She may just not be ready for that type of relationship!

start a conversation and then while she is ...ummm ...thinking about what to say to you, motion your hand forward, with one hand in your pocket and take a step forward .. she will have to take a step forward and then another .. there ...you are walking with her. even if its just to the classroom. the next time it will be very easy for her and yourself.





and if she stand still while you walk forward then you will have to tell her the you like her to walk with you ...

Anyway. You can't know until you ask her out. If she says ';yes'; then obviously she was too shy and from here on you just have to take charge.
She could like you, just wait it out.. dont be so eager for an answer from her... just hang out with her a little bit and as you start to become close friends you can just ask her.
