How do I apply blush to make my face look less chubby?

have an oval face with chubby cheeks. How do I apply blush to make my face look less chubby? How do I apply blush to make my face look less chubby?
First, it is important to own a good quality Blush brush. A blush brush will help to place and blend the blush perfectly. Next, pick a color that looks natural on you and then apply it to the apples of your cheeks blending up along you check bones. To create even more depth to your cheeks try applying contour (a darker color) starting at your jaw bone joint and blending in a downward motion to the cheeks centerHow do I apply blush to make my face look less chubby?
Blush will do nothing to make you look less chubby. If anything, by enhancing the apples of your cheeks you will look more rounded.

The best solution is a bronzer or contour powder. Buy a regular face powder that is several shades darker than your own, if you are pale. If you are black, buy a highlighter or pale colored powder.

If you are using a darker colored powder, apply powder to darken (slightly( the neck (under the chin), the hollows of the checks, and the temples.

If you are black skinned and using a highligher, apply it to the tops of the cheekbones, the tip of th chin, bridge of the nose, and middle of the forhead.

Google ';contouring'; for more detailed explanations of how to properly contour or highlight.

One more thing that works well for chubby faces is using a lot of liner on the lower eyelids, creating more definition to the face.
Ok, so almost everyone knows that blusher is an essential for a make up bag, yet its so difficult to find the right, colour, brush, texture, etc.

I would suggest to you a powder blush, that doesn't look too dark as this can look like a 5 year olds done your make up (I know this because of past expericance EEK!) For an oval shaped face, you want to bring it in from your ears.

Use a small blusher brush and work inwards from your ears to the apple's of your cheeks. Its hard to explain over the internet, so I have provided some pics to help you.

A sketch on where your blusher should be:

The perfect brush for this look,(I use this and its brill!) Its from bare minerals which is sold on QVC and in Debenhams:

Hope i helped.

GOOD LUCK
you're not going to be putting blush alone to make your face appear less chubby. What you're going to need to do is contour your face first then apply blush. What you need to contour your face would be either an angle brush or a contour brush. You can go to MAC to purchase an angle brush or sephora. I usually contour my face and underneath my chin, to give an illusion that I don't have a double chin. After you contour then you can apply blush.
blush is NOT what you want if you want the illusion of a more narrow face... it highlights the cheeks and cheekbones bringing more attention to them, what you want to do is suck in your cheeks and fill in those hollows with a contouring powder
first put the blush on the apple of your cheeks(smile and its the part that sticks out). then apply it in an upward diagonal motion, angleing it towards your temples. make sure to blend well.

good luck!
you will contour your face get a good blush like mac or Nars and get a pink, or brown color and contour your cheek bones
